Everything you need to know to use Scope.

Project workflow

Here’s an overview of the full project workflow:

  1. New project is created.
  2. Matching: Requirements are gathered and an expert is matched. The expert accepts or turns down the project. If the expert accepts, he or she chats with the customer and drafts a proposal. If he or she turns it down, the project is rematched.
  3. Proposal: The expert submits a proposal for the customer’s review. The customer reviews and eventually accepts.
  4. Contract: After accepting the proposal, the customer adds a payment method (however, he or she won’t be charged until after accepting a contract). The expert submits and signs a contract. The customer reviews and eventually signs the contract.
  5. Building: After signing the contract, the customer is charged 40% of the total project amount. The expert begins work on the project.
  6. Reviewing: All deliverables are completed and the expert submits the project deliverables for review.
  7. Live: Upon successful review, the expert sets the project to live
